Welcome to Our Class!
Welcome to our ESL World Adventure curriculum. This project has been designed as a part of a course in the Masters of Educational Technologies program at the University of British Columbia. Aimed at students aged 7-13, it's a fun new way for young students with an intermediate language level to learn English by using media and completing activities associated with it.
Each unit introduces a different country in the world and has a set of associated tasks and projects for students to complete. Rubrics, Learning Passports with stamps and a teacher's guide are provided as well and can be consulted whenever needed. After each task, students can stick a post stamp in their learning passports and see where they have traveled to!
We hope that this World Adventure introduces a fun new style of learning to your classroom. We also hope it helps students feel curious about their role as citizens of the world!
